APFC Panels are where there is fluctuation in voltage and power supply. The electrical load required by a unit depends upon the type of devices installed. There is always a possibility of damage to equipment if power fluctuates. In the case of fixed loads, they can be safeguarded using capacitors, but in the case of varied loads, a mechanism to switch in and switch out the capacitors is required which is handled using panels.

How is APFC calculated?
It is found by multiplying (kiloVoltAmpere = Volt x Ampere). The result is expressed as kVA units. Power Factor reflects the ratio of true power used in a load circuit to the apparent power delivered to the load circuit.
Use of APFC relay
APFC Relay is used to automate a capacitor bank and is one of the most difficult roles in a place where a high and controlled amount of electricity is applicable. This includes large factories or industries schools or colleges.
The capacity of the APFC panel
Automatic power factor control panel board with 110 Kvar capacity, heavy-duty capacitor with automatic capacitor ON and OFF monitoring. Selector switch. Copper busbar for long life and stability of the capacitor.
The advantages of APFC unit
APFC systems work by reducing the reactive power in the system, thereby improving the power factor. A higher power factor means more effective utilization of the electricity drawn from the grid, resulting in reduced energy wastage and, consequently, lower energy bills
APFC stands for ‘automatic power factor correction’. The purpose of APFC is to compensate for the reactive power generated in the circuit. It reduces the kVAh consumption and keeps it close to the kWh consumption.
